I didn’t find my way through college alone.
As a first-generation college student, I know firsthand what it feels like to navigate an institution that wasn’t originally designed with you in mind. What made the difference for me wasn’t a policy or a program — it was people. Classified professionals who saw me, showed up for me, and helped me find my footing when I wasn’t sure I belonged.
That experience never left me. It became my why.
From Student to Change Agent
Today, I bring over two decades of experience in the California Community College system to my work as an equity-centered professional learning consultant, speaker, and institutional change agent. I’ve sat at classified desks, navigated institutional hierarchy, and built professional learning programs from the ground up. I understand this system not just academically — I’ve lived it.
That lived experience is what I bring into every consulting engagement, every keynote, and every workshop I facilitate
A Framework Born From Practice
My consulting work is anchored in the Professional Learning Hierarchy of Needs (PLHN) — a proprietary five-level framework I developed to help institutions assess and strengthen their professional learning ecosystems. From foundational resources through innovation and leadership, the PLHN gives colleges a structured, equity-driven roadmap for building professional learning systems that actually work for every employee — not just some of them.
Recognized. Credentialed. Committed.
I hold a Doctorate in Organizational Change and Administration and serve as Vice Chair of the California Community College Council for Professional Development (4CPD). My work has taken me to campuses across the state — facilitating keynotes, leading workshops, and partnering with institutions ready to invest in meaningful, lasting change.
Consulting Services
I partner with California Community Colleges to assess and strengthen professional learning ecosystems — bringing a structured, equity-centered approach that addresses gaps in resources, access, engagement, and leadership development
Keynote Offerings
My keynotes are designed to inspire and challenge — blending personal storytelling, research-backed insights, and practical frameworks that resonate with classified professionals, faculty, and administrators alike.
Workshop Sessions
Every workshop is built around your campus context and designed for immediate application. Participants leave with concrete tools, renewed sense of purpose, and strategies they can put to work the next day.
Professional Learning Framework
The Professional Learning Hierarchy of Needs (PLHN) is my proprietary five-level framework that helps institutions move from foundational resources through innovation and leadership — systematically and equitably.
